Holy Week Worship

Call of a Pastor
St Paul and Peace have decided to call a candidate from the seminary. Documents had to be submitted by the end of February and this was accomplished. The Saint Louis Seminary’s call service date is April 22nd. The Fort Wayne call service date will be about the same time. It will be about then that the congregation knows who its new pastor will be.
Fellowship
The St Paul fellowship club meets Monday, March 2nd, at 6pm. The Peace Friday pot luck is March 20th.
Confirmation
Jason and Jesse Zinnel will be confirmed Sunday, April 26th. Jayson Kunz will be confirmed Sunday, May 3rd.
Graduation
St Paul 2009 High School graduates are: Carl Charapata and Lucas Thomsen . Emmetsburg graduation is Sunday, May 17th. Peace 2009 High School Graduates are: Marrisa Thilges, Nick Bleuer, Matthias Schwatzkopf and Mike Fisher. West Bend Mallard graduation is Sunday May 17th.

Men’s Ministry Breakfast
The Men’s Ministry Breakfast will be Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 169/141), Bouton. The registration deadline is March 24th. Presenters are laymen that are active in their church, community, state of Iowa, and the District. They bring their faith into their home and their workplace. In addition to sharing their specific joys and struggles as Christians in the workplace, they will respond as to questions.
